Dual Immersion Advisory (DIA)DIA is an organization of parents and teachers working to support the specific needs and long-term goals of the Mountain View Whisman School District’s Dual Immersion Program. Founded in 2007, DIA organizes classroom volunteers, parent education, cultural events, enrichment programs and other activities that help create a quality dual immersion program for students and families. Dual Immersion families can support DIA and the DI program in many ways: volunteering in the classroom, participating in and contributing to school wide activities, planning cultural events, contributing financial support, fundraising, working on community outreach programs or many other projects. DIA’s activities are important to the success of the Dual Immersion program.
